Before the compound bow, and without the benefit of any sort of reference guide, Fred Bear set out on a course to conquer the world's most fierce big game. Toting what would be by today's standards, be considered primitive bowhunting gear. Bear added to this challenge by taking along camera crews and writers to document these odysseys. And during the 1950s, 60s and 70s, Bear became our greatest hunting legend ever. The hardcover book is 304 pages and includes approximately 100 photos - some of which have never been published.
